The first thing you should do is find the course you wish to apply/enrol on using the find a course section. Select the course and you will be given the option to click on one of the following buttons:
Apply
You will need to apply before you enrol on to a course. Click on the button and fill out the application form and our admissions team will be in touch with your next steps.
Register your interest
Fill in the form with your contact information and our curriculum team will be in touch. They will discuss the course with you, let you know what happens next and how and when you can enrol.
Enrol
You can enrol using our online enrolment portal; an easy, quick way to get you signed up, just follow the instructions on the screen when you click the button.
Course fees and remission
Most of our Lancashire Adult Learning courses are short online courses that are FREE for residents in Lancashire. For more substantial programmes and qualifications fees do apply, however, you may be eligible to have your fees waived if you are in receipt of certain benefits (evidence must be provided). Eligible state benefits include:
- Jobseeker’s Allowance
- Employment and Support Allowance
- Universal Credit
- Another state benefit (conditions apply)
Other fee waiver criteria may apply, including:
- Studying for your first full Level 1 or 2 qualification on an eligible course
- Studying for your first full Level 3 qualification on an eligible course (from April 2021)
- Those in employment with a gross annual income of less than £17,004

Loans
For some of our professional qualifications, learners can apply for loans to cover the costs of their course. The following loans may be available for you to apply for:

How to Pay
If you do need to pay for a course, you can pay by Visa, Mastercard, cheque, or cash. Payments in instalments may be available for some courses.
